We're recruiting to our global Executive Board and Global Officer positions! 

WIFH is looking for passionate and engaging students, eager to make a difference in the global community.

Executive Board

Vice-President Finances: WIFH's VPf is responsible for the organization's finances. With support of the other Executive Board Members, the VPf drafts WIFH's financial plan, including our budget and fundraising goals & strategies. 

Vice-President Data & Informatics: WIFH's VPdi is responsible for measuring the impact of WIFH's projects in the community, and assembles the data and information to support our work.

International Secretary:
 WIFH's Secretary keeps our global team running smoothly. Working in collaboration with the President & Chair-person, the Secretary supports the organization and implementation of Executive Board meetings, as well as the tracking of global priorities. 

Global Officers

External Team

Liaison Officers: Represent WIFH and report developments to the WIFH Executive Board on a monthly basis or as needed. Keep up to date with the activities of external organizations and potential ways in which we can expand the partnerships in ways both organizations may benefit.
  • WIFH-GEMx: Maintain communication with GEMx administration team concerning student exchange project. This may involve reaching out to host institutions, assisting students with any concerns they may have in the initial stages and anything else that comes up along the course of the GEMx projects. (3 hours per week)
  • WIFH-SNO: Maintain communication with SNO representative(s) to keep up with SNO activities and share them with WIFH members. SNO partnership will be a pool for obtaining research /project submissions and a platform to engage institutions across the globe. (3 hours per week)
Communications Officers: Maintain the social media interfaces and act as the face for WIFH. Engage the Regional directors about what is happening in their local universities and communities and ensure global WIFH representation. Maintain close communication with the VPE with regards to any WIFH activities they deem of importance and assist where needed. ​(3-4 hours per week)

Internal Team

Regional Directors: Engage with local and national communities within specified regions of the world to support existing interdisciplinary initiatives and foster the growth of new ones. Coordinate regular regional meetings, and connect with the WIFH Executive on a monthly basis. (2-3 hours per week)

Impact Journal Director:
 Work with an engaging and passionate team of students from around the world to lead the development of the WIFH-SNO Impact Journal. (2 hours per week)

Innovation Workshop Director: Approach various organizations around the world to come up with solutions to global health issues. (2 hours per week)

Management Officer: Work with the Vice-President Internal to support ongoing projects and WIFH's development, generally. Report the developments, challenges and successes of internal projects to the VPi and support the development of solutions and strategies.
