Our Project Pillars
At WIFH, we're passionate about making a difference in the communities we serve. We're constantly coming up with exciting and innovative new ideas, but putting those ideas into action takes a lot of work. To ensure we're working sustainably and efficiently, while making the most positive impact possible, we've oriented our work around four pillars: learning, research, engagement, and advocacy.
By identifying shared learning opportunities, students can develop deeper understandings of their roles and responsibilities, as well as the needs of the communities they serve.
By connecting across disciplines, students can engage in a wide variety of research activities to improve projects, supports, and services.
Working together, students can reach larger audiences and bigger platforms to better advocate for the communities their serve locally, nationally, and internationally.
By engaging with one another socially, students develop valuable professional networks that they carry with them into their careers.
